I want to echo Lisa's thought- you guys did a phenomenal job.  Mr. Goergen would like to meet and debrief with us, when can we do that.  Also I need to know like yesterday about that field trip.  PLEASE by tomorrow I need to know and I need those permission slips as well!!!! Pretty please.  Please someone who reads this call the others and remind them, this is important.

Fast-A-Thon

Amazing job you guys! I thought Fast A Thon was a HUGE success. You all should be really proud of yourselves. The WDTDT was really great, I thought. All of the religious leaders were well spoken and interesting and took time to tie their talk with the ones before them. The rest of the evening went great! I think we learned that people can entertain themselves, but it's still good to have back of plans of activities just in case: like the mugs, those were a great success.


So, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and I'll see you on Tuesday!

Here's what we talked about at today's meeting. Add your updates as they occur. We'll sort everything out on Thursday. Awesome:

- Greg's Frozen Custard (30 Icecreams)
- Pita Inn!
- Saffron - 50 naan + sauce
- Chipotle - 50 burritos (in half, so 100)
- Pizza - lots (we can order extra if we need it depending on how many have signed up - we'll decide on Thursday)
- Spice Bazaar - naan + samosas?

- DDR (Veena's game, but I'll request the TV)

- Movie on projector in theater (Veena - Bend it Like Beckham, unless someone else brings something)

Hey everyone,
I just talked to Pita Inn. He's giving us a tray of Hummus, 4 dozen Falafel, 2 dozen Pita Bread, and 1 tray Shawarma. However, we have to pay $40. Let me know what you guys think. The trays are pretty big though, he said they'll feed 40 people pretty easily.
Also...what was our final decision on the lunch tables? Should I cancel them??

I emailed Sahar today, I'm trying to locate the posters that we made last week.  I had put in the work order for them to be hung today but they were not in student activities like I had thought.  Also the world of difference people contacted me they want to know if any students want to attend the unity for diversity field trip on October 10th.  Please let me know ASAP.
